Conan Mod and Server Manager
A Windows tool for organising Conan Exiles mods and load orders across client, dedicated-server and hosted-server workflows.

The problem
Changing an active mod setup should preserve downloaded source files unless the person using the manager chooses to remove them. The manager needs to distinguish the source library from each client's or server's active setup.
My contribution
I define the setup and recovery workflows, review the interface and file-handling behaviour, and maintain the releases and guidance. I use AI coding tools extensively for the Python implementation, reviewing changes against practical client and server tasks.
- Discover sources and targets
- Review the load order
- Apply or upload changes
Implementation choices
Separate sources from active state
The manager distinguishes the mod library and Workshop cache from the Active Load Order and each target's setup. SteamCMD acquisition and FTP/SFTP uploads use explicit actions rather than treating a library change as deployment.
Change the setup, preserve the download
Ordinary selected uninstall previews the load-order change and backs up the existing list before rewriting it. The downloaded mod files stay in place. Moving a target copy into quarantine is a separate choice.
Make changes inspectable
Profiles, preview diffs and backups help administrators review and recover changes. Regression coverage includes retained source files, modlist diffs and backup creation; diagnostics redact sensitive hosted-server details.
Result
The published Python desktop manager brings Workshop, load-order and server tasks into one interface. Its source and release guidance provide a concrete example of integrations, file ownership and user-facing workflow design.
Availability and scope
The Nexus page defines the current public package. Provider and game-build support have documented limits, and repository checks do not establish fresh live-server acceptance for every setup.
